Bird On The Street is Kathy Traeger’s interpretation of a day in the life of the infamous crow as they mischievously visit a few places in Vancouver.

Traeger’s been fascinated by crows her entire life and features them heavily in her work. While many view them negatively, Traeger loves to focus on their cheekiness and intelligence.

This series of work was also inspired by the book “Gifts of the Crow - How Perception, Emotion and Thought Allow Smart Birds to Behave Like Humans” by John Marzluff and Tony Angell.
